Project Life Project 52 - Week 1

IMG_2300 Hi everyone! I put together some photos from the last week for my Project 52 album using the Project Life App. It was a fun week - I have been working from home as often as possible since I accomplish more than I do by traveling into the office, and the tree in the photo above is the one that sites right outside my office window. I love it so much - it’s a very old tree covered in moss and lichen, and it carries red leaves when it’s in bloom. The sky that day was really gray but beautiful at the same time. Teddy had a chance to play in the snow - he likes it a LOT for such a little dog. The highlight of the week, though, was our trip to Rye, NY for the Christening of our friends’ daughter. Eric is her godfather and we just had such a great time with them and their family. To create the layout above, I used Design Q with rounded corners on all the photos and a white background. The journaling card comes from the Merry and Bright Mini Kit. That’s a holiday-themed kit but the colors seemed to match perfectly. I printed the pages from my last post at Persnickety Prints, and they’re already in an album! That is about a 500% improvement over how much I got done with my PL album in the last year, so I am pretty pleased with the ease of this system. On top of that, it has motivated me to finish compiling pages that were long overdue, and now all but one short stack of photos have a home in my book. I showed the book to Eric and I think he was surprised to see everything - I don’t think he realized that I was printing everything. Then he noted how the book is roughly 90% photos of the dog. I think that is an exaggeration - maybe more like 25%. :)
