I have one last card to share with you for this week’s Neat and Tangled release, using Everyday Circles. I went less CAS with this one, using some of my patterned papers. Instead of using the circular sentiments in this set, I heat embossed birthday on some patterned paper and paired it with some gold embossed ephemera, and then I used the open circle to stamp some round rings in gold on the peach background.

I have been in D.C. for most of the week and am excited to be going home for the weekend. Hopefully, the weather is nice and we get to go to the beach again!

I am SO late to this party!

I was away in Atlanta for work and totally flaked on posting this so here I am….

Kelly was approached by the inventor of the Kreate-a-lope, Nick, who sent her some samples of his envelope template to try out. I was happy to give this a try with her and some others, and here I am with the results!

I love the ease of making an envelope to match my cards in a jiffy, and was able to do this using regular 12×12 paper.

Hey there! Sorry for the absence here on the blog this last week. My car was in for service and that just threw me off - I am in the middle of Lil’ Inker Designs release prep and Easter cooking. The family is coming over tomorrow for brunch - yay! If you have any great recipes to share, I would love to hear about them, because I am not sure what else to make.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi really quickly and post a reminder about the Ugliest Card Ever Hop for Monday, April Fool’s Day. If you missed my original post, you can read all about it here. One huge clarification: you should be posting your own ugliest card, not somebody else’s - that would just be mean - but thanks to those who asked!

I woke up this morning thinking my day was going to be all about this blizzard we are getting, but no! Because there are Year of Flowers dies coming our way, and there’s a challenge to boot. This Year of Flowers: Mums set is the only one that I own from the series, but it’s one of my faves (even though I don’t color).

Thanks to everyone who has written, called or texted wishing us luck riding out the storm. I think we will be ok - the generator and snowshoes are ready, the fridge is full, and Eric is home early from his work trip this week.
