Happy card using new Waffle Flower

_DSC0048b

Hi friends! I am here today to share a card that I made using some of the newly released Waffle Flower Crafts products - I love this release and knew as soon as I saw it that this tag set and dies would soon be one of my favorites.

I started with the Surface - Tag Stamp Set and stamped the heart pattern using three dye inks in yellow, purple, and blue onto white cardstock, and then used the die in the Surface - Tag Die - Starter Kit to trim the pattern into the rounded shape. I then trimmed a matching panel in yellow and another from vellum. The white piece was hand-trimmed and offset on top of the yellow panel and then I stitched the vellum layer on top. As a final step I diecut the tab using the die set from purple cardstock and used it to finish off the sentiment, which was stamped in black ink onto a strip of white paper. An enamel dot was used in the center of the tab to mimic the effect of a brad and I rounded the corners of the card base.

Here’s a closer look at the products that I used on this card - they’re available for purchase in the store now! And lucky for you: I have a Surface - Tag Stamp Set to give away for you! Please leave me a comment telling me about something that has made you happy recently! I’d love to hear about it! Comments left by June 19 at 11pm EST are eligible to win. Good luck!
