Hey there! Long time, no see! I’ve been busy with non-crafty things but I am still around. We’ve been spending lots of time walking the bike path near our house and getting ready for summer. I thought I’d share this card that I made using some awesome goodies from Simon Says Stamp. I used the Butterflies Stamp Set to create the background, which stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder onto SSS fog cardstock, I then trimmed a piece of BasicGrey patterned paper with the rectangle die from the SSS Stamp Sun and Sunshine dies and layered that over some white thread. Some butterflies were trimmed from silver glitter paper and vellum using the SSS Butterfly Drift die and a rose pink button was added to the center.
The cute sentiment was stamped in black onto the tiny strip of white paper and this baby was done! Thanks for stopping by!

You certainly haven’t lost your touch, this is gorgeous!! I love all the different layers and textures, especially the butterflies. I would never have thought to use the alphabet for a background, genius idea!! Your getting ready for Summer, while here in New Zealand its been raining for 3 days and supposed to rain for 3 more.
