Bring the sunshine and a winner!

_DSC0036It took me all weekend to make this card. I would walk away and come back to it, over and over; it was redone a few times! Thank goodness yesterday was a holiday - I may not have finished it. LOL! I wanted to play with more of the new Pure Sunshine Release from Simon Says Stamp, so I started by inking the Gingham Stencil with Soft Apricot ink to create the plaid pattern, and went back in with some Lemon Chiffon ink afterwards. The Basic Grey patterned papers were used to create the sun and the hill, and Mama Elephant’s Pandamonium stamps and dies were used to make that cute little guy that you see right there with his lantern:

_DSC0047The sentiment is a combination of two images from the SSS Bring the Sunshine set - I love this stamp set. It’s a small one, but I just love all the sayings in it. Everything was finished off with some Hero Arts gems - these pearl/rhinestone packs come in a variety of colors, and I find that they are the ones that I reach for most…you must try them!

In other news, the winners from the Simon Says Stamp Pure Sunshine release blog hop were drawn and you can see the full list of winners on Simon’s blog, but the winner from here is Becky (Immi)! Congrats, Becky!

Totally worth your deliberation! I just love how you used your pattern paper too. It’s there, but it isn’t. Such an amazing skill. I thoroughly enjoy being on your mailing list! Thanks for the inspiration.
