January 2015 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Long time, no see! I hope you’re all enjoying the holiday season! I am listening to Christmas carols on Pandora as I type this - oh, I am so grateful for Pandora! Today I have some cards to share with you - I made these using the January 2015 Simon Says Stamp card kit, which is so fabulous! There is something so beautiful about blue and purple together - you are in for a real treat with this box of goodies.

On my card above, I used the mini spray mister and Hand Lettered Winter stamp set included in the kit along with some Faber-Castell gelatos to create this CAS card. The sentiment was stamped with a silver gelato first, and then I stamped over that again with Versafine smokey gray to add more contrast - it almost looked embossed!

For my next card, I used the stamp stickers and papers in the kit to the max - adding the heat embossed sentiment and hand-stitching along the outside border.

Lastly, this card was made using the same stamp set again, this time stamping the snowflakes in Versamark and using the purple Perfect Pearls from the kit over that to make them shimmer in light purple (hopefully you can see them in the photo!). The rhinestones were added to the center of each snowflake and the sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink. The stitching detail at the top was added using the SSS Stitched Slopes and Hills dies.

Well, back to work for me - have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
