Just made a card for fun using some girly and sweet Pink Paislee supplies. There’s something therapeutic about layering all these ephemera pieces, and I love not having an inky stampy mess to clean up when I am done.
I will be going on vacation within the next couple of weeks (more on that later, because one of my trips is to KANSAS to visit crafty friends - any guesses on who I will be seeing there?!?!) I am really looking forward to it!
Hope your week is going great! I’ve been so busy at work that I haven’t had much time to visit all of you to say hi - my reader contains over 1000 posts at this point, not to mention…I need to find a replacement for Reader, don’t I?

Hi there! I’ve got a fun little post today on the Neat and Tangled blog - I made some super simple nautical cupcake toppers! Head on over to take a peek and have a great day!
I also wanted to share this photo of one of the nests in our yard this year. It’s just outside our back door, right at eye level. There were four baby robins in the nest, but they’ve grown so quickly that two of them have already flown away. I hope they return to build a nest again next year. xo

Welcome to the Lil’ Inker Designs Sunny Days blog hop! If you’re hopping along, you should have arrived here from Sarah Jay’s blog. We’ve got some fun planned for you this week, inspired by this graphic:
One of the first things I think of when I think of sunny days are flip-flops, but it just doesn’t seem right to sport any flippies without painted toes…so I’ve put together some pedicure-inspired favors that I think would be fun for a pool party, beach day, or girls’ party:
I used the Lil’ Inker Designs Flip Flops dies for this project - everything came together so easily once I had the nail polish colors picked out!
We would LOVE for you to play along for a chance to win some awesome prizes! All you have to do is make a project inspired by the graphic above. Here’s how:
- Use Lil’ Inker Designs goodies as a focal point in your project but LID goodies do NOT have to be used exclusively.
- Upload your project to your blog along with the inspiration photo above and tell us how you were inspired to create your project.
- Upload your project using a direct link to your post and the Linky Tool found here on the store blog.
To be eligible to win our Grand Prize you must follow the critera above. You have until Sunday, June 2nd at 11:30 p.m., EST to enter.
Here is the prize that is up for grabs:
- Two lucky honorable mentions will receive $10 gift certificates to Lil’ Inker Designs. Our Grand Prize Winner will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to Lil’ Inker Designs - our BIGGEST PRIZE EVER!! The Grand Prize winner will also receive a cutie badge for their blog

Hope that you can play along! I am the last stop on the hop, but you can always head back to the store blog for more info and ideas…
Thanks so much!

I am SO late to this party!
I was away in Atlanta for work and totally flaked on posting this so here I am….
Kelly was approached by the inventor of the Kreate-a-lope, Nick, who sent her some samples of his envelope template to try out. I was happy to give this a try with her and some others, and here I am with the results!
I love the ease of making an envelope to match my cards in a jiffy, and was able to do this using regular 12×12 paper.
If you’d like to learn more about the Kreate-a-lope template, you can visit their website here or watch this video tutorial on Splitcoast. Nick is having a campaign to raise funds to make this template in new sizes, and for a donation of $10 folks can get the current Kreate-a-lope by clicking here.

Hey there, friends! I am guest designing for Sweet Stamp Shop this month and am so happy that Nicole Rixon invited me to join her this month! Today I am featuring some more projects using her newly released stamp sets.
My first card above uses the new set called Eye Love. I went clean and simple, thinking I could use this card for one of my super smart co-workers. That shade of green is one of my favorites!
Next, I made a fun girly card using Weird Love and some patterned papers from My Minds Eye:
And then I made a bold and graphic card using Eye Love. The image is funky, so I paired it with a funky color combo and heat embossed the image on some dark gray cardstock. They say hindsight is 20/20…that’s the occasion that I had in mind here.
Here you can see that the lighter gray cardstock has some texture to it - a great touch for CAS cards, I think.
Head on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog to see more great projects!
I am off to Atlanta for work today. I have never been there, and I have a chance to tour and meet some folks at Emory University, so I am looking forward to the trip! Have a great day!
Hugs,
Suzanne
