Today’s the second day of the Neat and Tangled Stamps release week, and today the team is featuring projects made with the new Ink Splash mini stamp set. I trimmed 3 shades of cardstock to be 1 inch wide and I adhered them to a piece of scrap paper to make one layer of paper, which was then stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder - I love how it kinda looks like water!
I added the sentiment from the previously released set called Sketchy Cupcakes beneath the embossed panel, and then I added the vellum butterfly diecut and some black rhinestones:

Since my color combination was inspired by day 1, week 1 of Summer Card Camp 2, I’ll be linking this up in the Gallery there. You can also find more Neat and Tangled inspiration on the store blog here - there are prizes up for grabs this week and I am sure you don’t want to miss it!

HELLO! We’re celebrating the new release for Neat and Tangled Stamps with a fun set called Everyday Circles, which is a 4×6 set filled with circular handwritten sentiments. For my card today, I stamped one of the sentiments first, and then I used the back side of two of the circles from the set to create the solid images in pink and yellow on my card. I also used the circle outline to add more jazz in aqua to the card. After adding the tiny strip of chevron patterned paper, I added some black rhinestones. (I used Hero Arts ink in Pale Tomato, Butter Bar, Tide Pool and Raspberry Jam - they are great for a card like this because the formula was meant for layering images.)
I’ll be back tomorrow for Day 2 of this release, but in the meantime you can head on over to the Neat and Tangled blog for more projects and to enter this month’s contest!

Hi there! I’ve got a fun little post today on the Neat and Tangled blog - I made some super simple nautical cupcake toppers! Head on over to take a peek and have a great day!

I also wanted to share this photo of one of the nests in our yard this year. It’s just outside our back door, right at eye level. There were four baby robins in the nest, but they’ve grown so quickly that two of them have already flown away. I hope they return to build a nest again next year. xo

Today’s the day! It’s the final day of the May release from Neat and Tangled Stamps, and today we are featuring cards made with a new set called Across the Card.
I stamped the sentiment in Versafine black ink onto some cream cardstock and trimmed along the bottom edge of the image, knowing that I wanted to layer that panel over the red and blue striped paper from Crate Paper. I then added the vellum clouds, wooden airplane and enamel dots to finish the card off.
Head on over to the Neat and Tangled blog, where there’s also a chance to win a prize! All of the sets are also currently available for purchase in the store, or at i {heart} papers, Simon Says Stamp, and Absolutely Everything!
Hugs,

It’s Day 2 of the May release from Neat and Tangled Stamps, and today we are featuring cards made with the new Sunburst stamp.
I heat embossed the sunburst with clear embossing powder over the heart patterned paper from SEI. Next, I inked up the image with a variety of yellow and orange Distress Inks a la the emboss-resist technique. The last step was to use my iron to remove the shine of the clear embossing.
I then trimmed the image and mounted it on the matching orange cardstock from A Muse Studio, later adding the coordinating sentiment sticker from SEI and some Basic Grey enamel dots. SO FUN!
To see more design team projects using the Sunburst stamp, head on over to the Neat and Tangled blog, where there’s also a chance to win a prize! All of the sets from this release will be available for purchase tomorrow, but we’re also super excited to announce that they can also be found at i {heart} papers, Simon Says Stamp, and Absolutely Everything!
Have a great day! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Monday, everyone! Today marks the first day of the May release from Neat and Tangled Stamps, and today we are featuring cards made with the new Sparkle and Shine set.
For my first card above, I first scored chevrons along the bottom part of the card. Then I stamped the “You Rock” sentiment in a variety of colors, adding the diamond image at the end. I chose ink colors that match the spritzes that I used. At the end, I added a clear button that was threaded with some white crochet thread.

My second card reflects the very last of my Crate Paper Pretty Party collection. *sigh* I started this card with the white Hero Arts crochet trim, and started to add the layers of paper and stickers until I found a great spot for the “Sparkle and Shine” sentiment as well as the coordinating stars that were stamped in gold ink and hand cut. I also added some Pretty Pretty Pink Satin sequins to embellish the card, as well as some white acrylic paint dots.
And there we have it: one CAS and graphic card, and one layered and girly one.
If you’d like to see more design team projects using the Sparkle and Shine set, head on over to the Neat and Tangled blog, where there’s also a chance to win a prize! These sets will be available for purchase on Wednesday, but we’re also super excited to announce that they can also be found at i {heart} papers, Simon Says Stamp, and Absolutely Everything!
See you tomorrow for Day 2!

Hi there! Just popping in really quick to let you know that I’m sharing a card over on the Neat and Tangled Stamps blog today!
Hope your weekend is going well! I got to meet my sister’s new puppy…SO cute, but such a peanut. She has to gain some more weight before she can come home though. Today I am taking a Project Life class, hoping to chip away at my album a little bit more. One of these days I will share some pics.
