Lil’ Inker Designs April Release Day 3

_DSC0009Happy Friday! Today’s the last day of this month’s Lil’ Inker Designs Release Hop! If you’re hopping with us us, then you should have arrived from Sarah Jay’s blog, but you can always head on over to the store blog to start from the beginning.

Today I am sharing a mini card using the Quilted Stitched Pattern die and the You’re My Favorite stamp set. I used the die to impress the quilt pattern on the card, but I masked off a 1-inch portion of the paper in the area where I wanted to heat emboss the sentiment. The whole panel was scored in the center so that this card is half the size of a regularly-sized card…I then added the flower from the Frames & Flowers die set.

Good luck to everyone who has been hopping - I hope one of you is lucky and wins one of the gift certificates! Until then, I can redirect you to the the store blog… I am the last stop on this blog hop. Thanks!! Have a great Easter weekend!

I love how you’ve used the stitched die but were able to call out the sentiment and flower. I’m going to try that!!!!! What a simple and cute card for Mother’s Day!!!!

That coral colored paper is just lovely and it allows the stitched background to really pop. This is a really lovely card in its simplicity.

Love your coral card, and the selective embossed background. I need to remember to do this. Thanks for the inspiration!
