Hi everyone! Welcome to the Can You Felt It? - Waffle Flower Blog Hop! Today is the 5th of the month which means the design team girls have gotten together to share some fun craft projects using our newest stamps and dies from the April release. If you came here from May’s blog, you are on the right track!
This month, we’ve teamed up with Benzie Design to bring you some fun felt projects. I made a bag using their Mermaid Lagoon Collection:
This felt is SO beautiful, and I love that it arrives in large 9×12″ sheets - this makes it possible to make larger felt projects like this one. I made this bag by trimming the front panel to be 6×8″; the sides are 2×8″; the bottom is 6×2″; and the back (which also create the flap) was cut to be 6×9″, but then I trimmed some off when creating the curve in the fold-over flap. The handle measures 1.5″ wide. I chose this size bag because I am planning on filling it with some cards to give to my mom for Mother’s Day - she loves having her own stash to send to friends and family.
I stitched everything together using my Janome Sew Mini - so you don’t need a super fancy sewing machine to make one of these! I then used the Bowtiful Die Set from Waffle Flower to create the flowers on the front of the bag. They were embellished with wooden buttons and some cut leaves:

Next, I created a tag using a sentiment from the Hey Mr. stamp set - it was stamped in brown ink onto white cardstock, and then I used a circle punch to round the end of the tag. I tied it onto the bag with some crochet thread. Here you can see how I stitched along the curved flap to give the bag a more finished look. The blue handle was stitched on its edges in the same way:
Here is a list of everyone participating in today’s hop, so I hope that you’ll check out everyone’s work!

May 30, 2025 at 11:15 PM (1 year ago)I attempted to to how to make my boyfriend break up with me
approach this from the viewpoint of purely literary analytical critique, and find
that I just canbot do so. And this can have hoow to make my boyfriend break up with me a great

her boyfriend of 11 years, Francesca Annis announced they would be repulsed
and they might feel ill equipped about your relationship.
By closing down the communication channels right now,
