Hello!! I am sharing some happy news that a card that I made was featured in Northridge Publishing’s newsletter today - thanks to everyone for their sweet emails! The magazine has gone digital and has a new format, and it’s still my favorite to read. This card that was mailed back to me today - it was published in the March issue of CARDS magazine, and it was made using Crate Paper’s Lil Bo Peep line:

It’s no secret that this is my favorite paper company. Have you seen Crate’s sneak peeks this week? I don’t know about you, but Christmas papers that have pink in them make me smile - check these out! How about you? Do you have a favorite paper company? Any other peeks that I should see? I’d love to know!
XO,
Suzanne
Hello, hello! I am back with another Lil’ Inker Designs post today because we are sponsoring this month’s CARDS Blog Challenge! This month’s challenge is to use these gorgeous colors on a project:
I couldn’t resist using the Maggie Holmes collection from Crate Paper for this challenge, and love how all these Lil’ Inker goodies look here!
The ombre tag is from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy collection…and I curled my twine using Distress Stickles:
Hope that you will join in on the fun this month over on the CREATE blog for a chance to win some Lil’ Inkers goodies.
Suzanne
I am throwing my hat into the ring for this month’s CARDS Blog Challenge, which is to create a card using Chartreuse, Aqua and Light Grey.
I used the Paper Heart collection from Crate paper and Love You More from Wplus9 to make this card. I diecut and glittered the hearts to make the banner using a Xyron and added some matching pearls to finish off the card.
There’s still a little time to join in on the challenge - and there’s an awesome Paper Smooches prize up for grabs!
Thanks for stopping by!
XoXo,
Suzanne
Last week on the Create Blog, there was a fabric flower tutorial that I wanted to try out, and this week’s CARDS challange was to make a project using a flower made in this style.
I don’t have lots of scrappy fabrics around here, so I cut up some old maroon hospital nursing scrubs that were hand-me-downs from my sister. The color of this fabric matched perfectly with some fun patterned paper that I picked up the other day:
I also used my new Memory Box die to cut the doily out of ocean tides paper:
And I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder:
Try it out! It’s a lot easier than it looks!
Supplies {by PTI unless otherwise noted}: Stamps: Signature Greetings; Paper: Jillibean Soup patterned paper, In Bloom paper, white, ocean tides; Ink: Fresh Snow; Other: twine by May Arts, button from SU!, cloth, candy dots, EK Success border punch, Memory Box doily die
