I am super excited to share this card with you today for the Simon Says Stamp Falling for You Blog Hop! It’s a fabulous release, so I hope that you are inspired by all of the projects on parade. You can view all the new release goodies here - today I am using the Falling Stars background stamp combined with a sentiment from the Congratulations stamp set included in the May SSS Card Kit.
This card was made possible with the Misti. I love it. I used it to stamp everything on this card! To stamp the stars I left the stamp stationary on the Misti and just moved the card stock a little bit prior to stamping the background pattern in each color onto Neenah solar white card stock. Then I added the sentiment, which was double-stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink. I personally think that not having this ink pad in your stash is like not brushing your teeth before bed. The stars were stamped in a rainbow of colors from Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts - there is such a huge variety of colors to choose from and we are lucky ducks for that!
The front panel was trimmed at an angle and backed with some SSS black card stock, and then I added some bling too - these gems are from Hero Arts, and I am holding out hope that bling and ribbon make ‘comebacks’ someday. The Hero Arts Mixed Accents packs are my favorite since they include gems and pearls that coordinate with their whole product line.
