Tonight we are going out to celebrate my sister’s graduation and I made this card for her using this week’s sketch at Retrosketches, some Glitz Design papers, and a stamp from My Favorite Things. The polka dotted paper reminded me of confetti, which seemed like a perfect fit for this party!
The sketch is based on a card that Laurie made - hope you can check it out!

I was so excited when Amy had this set with her last weekend - it’s the My Favorite Things Pretty Poppies set. I tried Laurie’s Fresh Ink in tomato red, an awesome color, and stamped these on to some Basic Grey patterned paper. Some black glitter finished off the card…
…and now I think I need these stamps.

Hi everyone! I’ve got a card to share for this week’s CAS-ual Fridays Challenge which is to make a card using strips of paper.
For my card, I cut 0.75 inch strips of
In Bloom patterned paper and layered them onto some 80lb cardstock. Then I diecut into the strips using the
My Favorite Things Die-namics Hexagon, which I
really love because it offers you the ability to cut individual hexagons in two different sizes or a long hexagon border strip - this side can also be used to cut chevrons!

I adhered the diecuts to my cardfront using some foam tape and added the sweet sentiment from Avery Elle’s
Bright Days set. That’s pretty much it!
Hope you’ve had a great week and that you’ll consider playing along!
